Purpose: Cuts (shears) wire up to 8 gauge in size, including half
round, square, etc. Leaves both ends perfectly flush instead of pinching them.
Eliminates waste and the need for filing. Adjustable gauge allows you to cut
multiple pieces of the same length.
Instructions: Open tool to line up holes. Insert wire into appropriate sized
hole. Squeeze handles to shear wire. To remove cut piece of wire from tool,
open tool with the knob facing up and let the piece of wire fall back out the same way it
went in. Opening the tool also completes the shearing process when using the 8 gauge
(largest) hole. It is normal to see some daylight through the largest hole when the
tool is closed. The adjustable gauge can be set to stop your wire at a fixed
distance for multiple cuts of the same length. Spin knob to the desired distance and
then tighten nut against tool to lock. The gauge can easily be removed if not
needed. |
